The Isle of Wight Matchplay is one of Britain's most popular Scrabble events. It is now held in November, at The Broadway Park Hotel in Sandown.
The weekend comprises 2 tournaments; the Main one, on Saturday,
and Sunday, consisting of 11 games, and a 5-game warm-up
event - the Vectis - on the Friday and Saturday.
